This is my favorite breakfast. It tastes delicious and it’s very healthy and easy to make. I typically wake up at 6 in the morning where I drink 500 ml water. Then I make my breakfast and read for 30-60 minutes. I like to read in the morning. My breakfast is a strawberry protein smoothie 2-3 times a week. The other days I eat eggs, toast and such stuff.
Strawberry protein smoothie ingredients
Here is the ingredients for my strawberry protein smoothie. The ingredients are 100g frozen strawberries, 1 banana, 80g oats, 25g peanutbutter, 30g whey 100 protein powder with chocolate flavor and 500-600 ml milk. All you have to do is to put all the ingredients in a mixer, so the smoothie can become smooth and delicious. Mix it for a couple of minutes.
You can add dark chocolate if you want some antioxidants, which helps with your metabolism and protects you from sickness. You can add 1 more banana if you want more banana flavor. Raspberries and blueberries can also be added to the smoothie, because these berries fits well with strawberries. Protein powder is not a must, but I like the extra protein. You can try different flavors here as well. You can add oils to the smoothie if you need more calories. I do that a lot in my bulking periods.
Pre and post workout smoothie
The strawberry protein smoothie can also be used as a pre or post workout smoothie. There is a lot of protein + healthy carbs + healthy fats in it. So there is everything that your body needs after cardio or strength training. I drink it 1 hour to 30 minutes before training as a pre workout smoothie. I drink it right after training as a post workout smoothie.
